Role Description
We are seeking a qualified Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, including preparing financial statements, maintaining budgets, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Key responsibilities include performing tax compliance, preparing financial and tax reports, assisting with financial audits, and ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping. The Accountant will also monitor financial transactions and implement efficient accounting practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial record-keeping, including preparation of financial statements and bookkeeping
- Expertise in tax compliance, tax reporting, and knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial audits
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and manage budgets
- Keen attention to accuracy and detail in maintaining financial records
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g. Tally, Zoho Accounts) is a plus
- Relevant experience in real estate or consulting industries considered advantageous
