Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role based in Adyar, Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, processing invoices, filing GST, and performing regular reconciliations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and preparing periodic financial reports to help guide business decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reconciliation, and budget preparation
- Familiarity with Zoho and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance standards, and payroll processes, grants
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
- Relevant degree or professional certification in Accounting or Finance
- Prior experience in startups, small-sized enterprise is a plus
