Position - Accountant
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, including financial record-keeping, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, processing invoices, handling payroll, and assisting during audits.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or similar tools.
- Ability to manage invoice processing, payroll operations, and budget tracking
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Understanding of Tax regulations, TDS, GST and compliance requirements
- Proven experience in Auditing and Reconciliation processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are a plus
- Familiarity with the manufacturing or steel industry is an advantage
