Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant, based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Accountant will handle financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Responsibilities include budgeting, auditing, account reconciliations, and working closely with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting skills, including general ledger management, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in software such as accounting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to detect and resolve discrepancies
- Capability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid work setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are a plus
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not mandatory
