Role Description
Orax is seeking a full-time Accountant for an on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Additional tasks include reconciling accounts, managing payroll, analyzing financial data to provide insights, and supporting audits with accurate reports and records. The role demands a meticulous and proactive approach to financial management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Strong skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Experience with auditing processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role; experience in the energy or technology sector is advantageous.
