Role Description The Accountant at Onkar Engineering Works will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate documentation of income and expenses. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, reconciling bank statements, assisting with budgeting, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and general ledger maintenance.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Office tools (especially Excel) for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Ability to prepare invoices, manage payable and receivable accounts, and support budgeting and financial analysis.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, management, and external vendors or auditors.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Integrity, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt to company processes and systems.
