Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Madurai. The Accountant will oversee and maintain financial records, manage budgets, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounts payable/receivable, processing invoices, reconciling financial discrepancies, and preparing reports to assist in decision-making. Collaborating with other departments, the Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining overall financial efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and budgets
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA/CPA certification, or equivalent, is a plus
- Experience within the construction or real estate industry is advantageous
