Role Description The Accountant at NEMA is a full-time, role based in sector 38, Gurugram. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The Accountant prepares financial statements, supports budgeting and forecasting, and ensures accurate recording of revenue and expenses. The role includes monitoring cash flow, assisting with payroll processing, maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with external auditors or consultants as needed.
The Accountant collaborates with management to provide financial insights that support operational decisions and sustainable growth while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, as well as basic IT literacy for managing digital records and documentation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow management in a service-oriented environment.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with local tax regulations, compliance standards, and audit procedures relevant to healthcare or senior care services.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with management, care teams, and external partners.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in healthcare, senior care, or other service industries, and the ability to work on-site in Gurugram with high ethical standards, will be beneficial.
