Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant position located in Sola, Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key tasks include general ledger maintenance, preparing tax documentation, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Accountant will also collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making and audits.
Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and experience in general ledger management
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and experience in preparing tax documentation
- Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar accounting role is preferred
