Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Accountant will manage and organize financial transactions, prepare and analyze financial statements, reconcile accounts, ensure adherence to tax regulations, and support financial audits. Additional responsibilities include budget preparation, expense tracking, and providing insights on financial performance to support strategic decision-making. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting is a crucial part of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Zohobooksand Excel
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial statements, and general ledger processes
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and accounting standards
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and transactions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable financial insights
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CA are advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and management
- Prior experience in similar accounting roles, preferably within sales, marketing, or lead generation sectors
