Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing tax filings, reconciling accounts, managing financial reporting, auditing financial transactions, and working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy. The role also involves handling accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and providing financial advice to support business strategies.
Qualifications
- Expertise in accounting practices, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, especially Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of tax regulations, auditing processes, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred)
- Prior experience in a financial services or asset management firm is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams
