Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jaipur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking for wedding projects and company operations. The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and cost analysis, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to handle invoicing, vendor payments, and financial documentation, while supporting management with accurate financial reports and insights.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, particularly in project-based or event-related environments.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets, with solid skills in data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic audit principles relevant to local and national standards.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with operations, vendors, and leadership teams.
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance; experience in events, hospitality, or weddings is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
