Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities will also include managing accounts payable and receivable, handling payroll, preparing tax filings, and supporting financial audits. The Accountant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and overall business operations.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Experience in financial reporting, preparing budgets, and managing annual tax filings
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and communicate complex financial information clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Understanding of local regulations and standards in financial management and reporting
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is advantageous
