Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll processing, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role involves preparing financial reports, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sonipat, requiring close collaboration with production and management teams to support accurate cost tracking and financial planning.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with relevant tax and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data analysis and financial documentation.
- Experience managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ability to track costs related to manufacturing, inventory, and production, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, textiles, or garments is preferred but not mandatory.
