Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Salem. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities also include monitoring budgets, processing transactions, handling payroll, and liaising with vendors and clients. The role requires accuracy, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail to manage the academy’s financial integrity effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliation
- Experience with Budget Management, Financial Planning, and Analysis
- Knowledge of Tax Compliance, Regulatory Requirements, and Auditing Procedures
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Accounting Software, and Financial Data Management
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or equivalent are a plus
- Experience in aviation or education sectors is an advantage
