Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting. The role will also require liaising with internal and external stakeholders for audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing financial reports to the management team.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and record-keeping
- Proficiency in tools like Tally and MS Excel
- Experience with budget preparation, forecasting, and account reconciliation
- Understanding of tax laws, GST, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are a plus
- Prior experience in the renewable energy or technology sector is an advantage
