Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Accountant will handle financial reporting, manage monthly/quarterly closing processes, ensure compliance with tax regulations, oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, and maintain accurate financial records. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, analyzing financial performance, reconciling accounts, supporting audits, and assisting with financial forecasting and planning. The Accountant will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights and contribute to organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, accounts reconciliation, and managing accounts receivable and payable
- Strong skills in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial management tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- In-depth understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and experience preparing and filing tax returns
- Analytical abilities and experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA or CA are a plus
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience; prior experience in real estate or property management is an advantage
