Role Description The Accountant at Ireka Homes is responsible for managing daily financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The role includes preparing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, assisting with budgeting, and supporting monthly and annual financial reporting. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations, while providing accurate financial data to support decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Moradabad, requiring close collaboration with management and other team members to support smooth business operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage bookkeeping tasks, including ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and invoice processing.
- Skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and supporting audits or periodic financial reviews.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, along with strong numeric and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to local operations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior accounting experience in manufacturing, retail, or handicrafts businesses is an advantage.
