Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Howrah, India. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and handling budgets. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting audit processes. The Accountant will collaborate with different departments to monitor financial performance and provide accurate financial insights.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and tax compliance
- Expertise in accounting software and spreadsheet tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CA are preferred
- Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
