Role Description
This is a full-time remote Accountant role. The Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, including reconciling accounts, managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial policies, assisting in audits, and producing reports to support decision-making processes. Timely completion of month-end and year-end closings will also be a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Financial skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation, and payroll processing
- Knowledge of taxation policies, regulatory compliance, and audit preparation
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (such as CPA or ACCA) is an advantage but not mandatory
- Experience within the renewable energy or manufacturing sector is a plus
