Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai at INSPIRE DIAMOND JEWELS PRIVATE LIMITED. The Accountant will handle daily financial transactions, ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, prepare financial records, and assist in compliance with tax regulations. The role also includes overseeing the preparation of financial statements, invoicing, and reconciliation processes while providing insights to improve financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Bookkeeping, and Financial Records Management
- Experience in Taxation, including compliance with local and national tax regulations
- Filing of TDS and GST payments and Filing of GST returns.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Digital Tools for financial analysis and reporting
- Skills in Invoicing, Account Reconciliation, and Financial Statement Preparation
- Attention to detail, accuracy in handling numbers, and strong organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior experience in the jewelry or retail industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
