Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role, located in Panjim. The Accountant will oversee and maintain financial records, prepare accurate financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, preparing tax documents, and assisting in budget planning. The Accountant will also analyze financial data, aid in financial auditing processes, and provide key financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Accounting Software Tools, and ERP Systems
- Experience in Taxation and Regulatory Compliance
- Analytical skills for Financial Data Analysis
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- Prior experience in the travel industry or knowledge of financial procedures for travel businesses is a plus
