Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing timely and accurate financial reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and supporting month-end and year-end closings. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Accountant will contribute to process improvements, maintain organized financial records, and support management with data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the region.
- Candidates should possess experience with accounting software and ERP tools; exposure to zohobooks or similar systems is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess solid numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to detect and resolve discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Candidates should possess integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
- Candidates should possess adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies in a technology-driven environment.
