Job Title: Hotel Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily revenue verification and reconciliation.
- OTA reconciliation (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, etc.).
- Verification of Front Office reports and Night Audit reports.
- GST return preparation and filing.
- TDS calculation, deduction, and filing.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management.
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Vendor invoice verification and processing of payments.
- Petty cash monitoring and reconciliation.
- Monthly closing of accounts and preparation of MIS reports.
- Monitoring and follow-up of corporate receivables and outstanding payments.
- Coordination with internal and statutory auditors.
- Maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and taxation requirements.
- Preparation and submission of financial reports to management.
- Verification of departmental expenses and inventory-related transactions.
- Assisting in budget preparation and cost control initiatives.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and records.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Tally, and MS Excel.
- Previous experience in hotel accounting operations is mandatory.
