Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thanjavur for an Accountant at HortBio Technologies Pvt Ltd. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role also involves collaborating with management to provide financial insights and contribute to budget planning and fiscal strategy.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Knowledge of accounting software and Excel for accurate record-keeping and analysis
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance standards, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is a plus
