Role Description
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant for a full-time, on-site role at our Kolkata office. The Accountant will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and handling tax filings. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations, analyzing financial data, and providing reports to assist in business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and financial record management
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, or other relevant platforms
- Familiarity with tax regulations and experience managing tax filings and GST
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and create reports
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in manufacturing or related industries is desirable
