Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ludhiana. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing tax filings, and assisting with payroll processing. The role involves ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations for improving financial processes and efficiency. The candidate will work closely with other departments to maintain accuracy in financial reporting and support the organization's financial health.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and general accounting principles
- Experience with tax filing, compliance procedures, and knowledge of local tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial analysis
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or Tally
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are a plus
- Prior experience in one or more of the industries served by High Dive International (fintech, edtech, banking, textile, IT) would be an advantage
