Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate records, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, monitoring cash flow, assisting with internal and external audits, and generating periodic financial reports for management. The Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and maintain organized documentation for all financial activities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role is preferred.
