Role Description
This is a full-time role located on-site in Mumbai for an Accountant. The Accountant will manage financial transactions, prepare and analyze financial statements, oversee budgets, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, conducting reconciliations, and supporting audits. The Accountant will collaborate with various departments to optimize financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience in budget management, cost analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and payroll management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications like CPA or CA are a plus.
- Prior experience in the media or production industry is advantageous.
