About the Organisation
Ganbeii Microbrewery (Ganbeii Restaurants Pvt Ltd) is a premier craft brewery and dining destination in Koramangala, Bangalore, known for its handcrafted beers and Kerala-inspired cuisine. Ello Hotels is a boutique 30-room hospitality property also based in Bangalore. Both entities are part of the same management group and are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations across both businesses.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the hospitality or F&B industry. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring GST and tax compliance, and supporting management reporting across our microbrewery and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts using accounting software (Zoho Books / Tally)
- Record and reconcile daily sales, expenses, and bank transactions
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and ensure timely TDS compliance
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and staff payroll
- Reconcile POS (Petpooja) data with accounting entries on a daily/weekly basis
- Reconcile OTA (MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, etc.) settlements with hotel revenue entries
- Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management
- Support inventory cost accounting and food/beverage cost tracking
- Liaise with external auditors, CA firm, and statutory authorities as required
- Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations including FSSAI, excise, and hotel-related statutory requirements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance; CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the hospitality, F&B, brewery, hotel, or restaurant industry is mandatory
- Proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally, or similar accounting software
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
- Experience with POS reconciliation (Petpooja or similar) is an advantage
- Familiarity with hotel PMS and OTA settlement reconciliation is a strong plus
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple entities' accounts simultaneously
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors, staff, and management
