About The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive bookkeeping activities, preparing detailed financial reports, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, this role involves overseeing compliance-related tasks such as GST filings and liaising with external auditors and consultants. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of DCS11 by ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience is essential. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms is required, along with a solid understanding of GST, taxation laws, and compliance procedures. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Experience working in retail, apparel, or manufacturing sectors will be considered an advantage, along with the ability to adapt to a growing and dynamic organizational environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts, including sales, purchases, expenses, receivables, and payables.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to facilitate management review and strategic planning.
- Handle GST filings, ensure timely reconciliations, and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity management.
- Assist in budgeting processes, perform cost analysis, and track profitability metrics to support financial decision-making.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and external consultants to ensure smooth audit processes and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, process expense reimbursements, and handle related administrative tasks efficiently.
- Provide support for basic administrative and office coordination activities as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
