Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Mumbai. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting audit processes. The role also involves the preparation and submission of tax returns and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards
- Proficiency in handling tax preparation, filing, and compliance tasks
- Experience in payroll management, account reconciliation, and ledger maintenance
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Tally, SAP, or similar platforms
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
