Role Description
E STAR Engineers is seeking a full-time Accountant to join its team on-site in Chennai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, prepare financial reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, preparing budgets, and supporting audits and financial planning activities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the organization's financial health and supporting strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting Software, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting
- Strong skills in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Experience in Taxation, Compliance, and Accounts Reconciliation
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in financial records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA or CPA are a plus
- Prior experience in the engineering or manufacturing sector is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
