Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Navi Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site position. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role involves managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with other departments to support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles and processes, including bookkeeping, financial statements, and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including budget management and financial data analysis.
- Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and familiarity with tax regulations.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide clear reporting and cross-team collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in the energy, commodities, or trading sector is a strong advantage.
