Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant, based in Jharsuguda with the flexibility for remote work on occasion. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. Key tasks include reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, managing budgets, and collaborating with teams to support long-term financial planning. The role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain robust financial practices.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and financial reporting skills, including experience in journal entries, balance sheets, and financial statements
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data
- Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Familiarity with tax compliance, regulatory guidelines, and financial auditing processes
- Proficient in accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or similar, with strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a construction or infrastructure-related industry is a plus
