Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in Surat. The Accountant will manage daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, creating financial reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and statutory regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and financial decision-making processes and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial management, including budget preparation, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with accounting software, such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is a bonus.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software tools for financial analysis and reporting.
