Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Pune City. The Accountant will handle a range of financial tasks, including managing accounts, preparing financial reports, overseeing tax filings, maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and monitoring budgets. They will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing financial data to inform decision-making, and supporting internal audits and financial forecasts. The role requires close collaboration with the finance team and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting practices, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control measures
- Knowledge of tax regulations, GST compliance, and preparation of tax filings
- Familiarity with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification like CPA or CA is a plus
- Prior experience in international trade finance or export documentation is advantageous
