Role Description
This is a contract role for an Accountant based in Telangana, India, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement (partial work-from-home option). The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including financial reporting, budget preparation, and analysis of financial data. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. The role also entails supporting audits, managing expense reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reports.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and audit processes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications, such as CPA or CA, are a plus
