Job Title: Full-Time AccountantCompany: Dream Liquor Wine Boutique
Job SummaryDream Liquor Wine Boutique is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our premium liquor store. The ideal candidate should have experience in retail accounting, inventory management, GST compliance, and financial reporting. The candidate must ensure accurate bookkeeping while maintaining complete confidentiality and compliance with government regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Accounting
- Maintain daily sales and purchase records.
- Record all cash, bank, UPI, and card transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and cash balances.
- Maintain general ledger and accounting books.
GST & Taxation
- Prepare and file GST returns.
- Ensure compliance with GST and other statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper tax invoices and documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and CA whenever required.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor inventory movement and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Verify supplier invoices and purchase entries.
- Track damaged, expired, or returned stock.
Payroll & Expenses
- Process employee salaries and reimbursements.
- Maintain attendance and payroll records.
- Monitor daily operational expenses.
- Prepare expense reports and control unnecessary expenditures.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain proper financial records and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance with Excise Department regulations.
- Keep records updated for audits and inspections.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience (Retail/Liquor industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, Busy Accounting Software, MS Excel, and GST compliance.
- Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge of liquor retail billing systems.
- Familiarity with excise rules and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Working Hours- Full-Time
- 6 Days a Week
- Timing: As per store operational hours.
