Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role entails collaborating with internal teams for budgeting, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, handling tax filings, and monitoring financial performance to support the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and analyzing financial data
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance standards, and statutory filings
- Strong skills in accounting software and spreadsheet tools, such as Tally or Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification like CPA, CMA, or CA is a plus
- Experience in real estate or consulting industries is advantageous
