Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Bengaluru South. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing journal entries. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and vendor and client payment tracking. The role will support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules. The Accountant will also assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, tax computations, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors and banking partners. In addition, the role involves maintaining accurate documentation, improving accounting processes, and partnering with the management team to provide financial insights for business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core accounting principles, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) and solid MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance related to corporate and real estate sectors.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide clear, actionable insights to management.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, banks, and external auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in real estate, consulting, or financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
