Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant position based in our Chennai office. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and overseeing payroll. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with tax regulations, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial records, and assisting in audits. The Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the organization’s overall financial health.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in financial accounting, budgeting, and auditing
- Excellent knowledge of tax compliance and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
