Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant who will have a head for numbers to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Their primary role will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and to provide valuable insights into the financial health of an entity.
Accountants play a crucial role in managing and reporting financial information, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing valuable insights for decision-making
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B. Com, M. Com, MBA (Banking & Finance) would be preferred.
- Knowledge and Hands on experience in Tally & advance MS Excel including Vlookups and pivot table is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure all business transactions are recorded timely.
- Assist the team in analyzing & preparing financial statements, and preparing reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintaining proper records in hard copy – original bills & vouchers as per legal requirements.
- Maintaining bill-wise records and regular follow-up with vendors for pending bills.
- Keeping track of receipts in all modes and regular follow-up with the sales team for overdue payments.
- Generate and issue customer invoices for services rendered, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.
- Examining costs, expenses, and financial commitments to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve profitability, and optimize resource allocation.
- Conduct audits to assess internal controls, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Preparing and processing payroll while ensuring compliance with tax regulations, employee benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Staying updated on accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific guidelines to ensure adherence and provide guidance to the organization.
- Upholding ethical standards and maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information and sensitive data.
Key Skills Required
- A strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis that may include knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and taxation.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and other tax compliances.
- Being meticulous helps in identifying errors, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining the integrity of financial data.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Knowledge of Tally, Strong time management and organizational skills are essential to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to identify problems, investigate root causes, and find solutions is vital.
- Upholding integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism is crucial to maintain trust and credibility in the field.
- Critical thinker with high proficiency in calculations.
