Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Guwahati. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, handling budgets, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and conducting audits. Daily activities will include tracking financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and collaborating with the team to maintain accurate financial documentation. The individual will also play a key role in financial decision-making and supporting organizational goals with detailed financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis
- Ability to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
- Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance, and audit processes
- Expertise in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is a plus
- Previous experience in the architecture, design, or construction industry is advantageous
