Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in the Greater Patna Area. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance, managing tax filings and planning, and performing regular audits. The role also involves managing financial transactions, evaluating financial risks, overseeing budgets, and preparing financial forecasts. Additional responsibilities include supporting cloud-based accounting software implementation and collaborating with team members to meet client requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial reporting, accounting principles, and audit processes
- Proficiency in using modern accounting software like QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books, or similar platforms
- Experience in tax preparation, compliance, and planning
- Knowledge of forensic accounting, including the ability to identify and investigate financial discrepancies
- Capabilities in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team while managing multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or CA qualification is a plus
- Previous experience in personal finance, wealth management, or as a virtual CFO is advantageous
