Role Description
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key tasks include maintaining ledgers, tracking expenses, preparing budgets, processing invoices, conducting audits, and assisting with tax preparation. The role also involves analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, including Tally ERP
- Strong skills in budgeting, financial reporting, and ledger management
- Attention to detail, accuracy in computations, and ability to identify discrepancies
- Familiarity with tax regulations and experience in preparing tax documents
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are a plus
- Prior experience in the interior, design, or construction industry is an advantage
