Job Description: Accountant – Nutraceutical & E-Commerce Experience

About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with prior experience in a nutraceutical, healthcare, FMCG, supplement, or e-commerce company.
The candidate should have practical experience in day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, purchase and sales entries, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, customer receivables, and marketplace/e-commerce reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP/accounting software.
- Handle purchase, sales, expense, journal, payment, and receipt entries.
- Manage GST input/output reconciliation and assist in GST return filing.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and compliance support.
- Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and marketplace settlements.
- Manage e-commerce accounting for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Shopify, Blinkit, Zepto, 1mg, or similar portals.
- Track marketplace deductions including commission, shipping charges, returns, penalties, TCS, and payment gateway charges.
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and e-commerce teams for billing and stock accuracy.
- Maintain invoices, credit notes, debit notes, purchase bills, and expense records.
- Prepare basic MIS reports, outstanding reports, and monthly closing data.
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a nutraceutical, supplement, FMCG, pharma, healthcare, or e-commerce company preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP / Busy / Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, sales accounting, purchase accounting, and bank reconciliation.
- Experience in e-commerce marketplace reconciliation will be preferred.
- Good command of MS Excel / Google Sheets, including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reconciliation work.
- Ability to handle large transaction data accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
