Role Description The Accountant role at Careers Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in*Dumka,Ranchi, Deoghar & Bhagalpur*. The accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role includes preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting, monitoring expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, assist with tax calculations and filings, and respond to internal and external financial queries. Collaboration with management and other departments to provide accurate financial data and support decision-making is an important part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Tally, or similar platforms).
- Ability to perform reconciliations, manage ledgers, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to analyze financial data.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in a similar accounting or finance role is preferred, particularly in on-site environments.
