Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Mumbai, India. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, managing budgets, ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance, handling accounts payable and receivable, and conducting financial analysis. The role also involves supporting audits, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards, including proficiency in financial reporting and compliance
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
- Proficiency in financial software tools and accounting platforms
- Excellent analytical skills for financial data management and reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to varying financial requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector will be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
