Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in New Delhi. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting regulations. Responsibilities also include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing tax returns, conducting account reconciliations, and supporting financial audits. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to provide insights into financial performance and support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as familiarity with financial reporting processes
- Analytical skills with the ability to perform reconciliations and identify discrepancies
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records
- Experience in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the retail or office products industry is a plus
